ACCESS CONTROL Main Menu
Three types of systems are normally used –
Digital Keypad, Swipe Card or Proximity reader.

The requirements of the particular application and organisation will generally
determine which type of system is most appropriate.

Keypad systems offer ease of operation and the facility to change the user code
(4 or 6 digit) in seconds. Available in attractive slim membrane keypads or stainless      steel vandal resistant models which are waterproof to IPX7.

Swipe Card systems provide a flexibility of access levels giving an electronic      equivalent of traditional master suited key systems but with the ability to void
and, if appropriate, subsequently restore lost or stolen cards. Ideal for small to
     medium sized systems.

Proximity readers give a higher security level than swipe cards and tokens have
indefinite life. Simplest to use as no card or token insertion is needed.

All of these systems can be linked to almost any kind of door system through
     the appropriate locking devices.
