HIGH SECURITY DOORS

All doors and frames are constructed to fit the particular structural opening and of a specification to
resist the perceived attack risk. As with all Arden products we only work on a supply and fit basis
leaving the client with a complete and finished working installation.

The basic Arden security door is a 46mm laminated leaf of high-density Birch ply WPB. This can be
steel-cored or steel faced according to clients' requirements. Frames are hardwood with 25mm or
32mm rebates dependent upon which locking system is being used.

A wide range of locking systems (mechanical and electrical) can be used depending upon the nature
     of the door duty e.g. multi-point deadlocking systems on secure fire exits, a high security latching
     system where there is significant pedestrian traffic or magnetic locks where the duty so indicates.
     Arden have no allegiance to any lock manufacturer and will always recommend and fit the
     device that is considered the most suitable for the application.

Doors are generally hung on continuous steel hinges, galvanised and stove-enamelled and with
security enhanced by hinge bolts.

Door finishes are to clients requirements and can be painted, stained or even hardwood faced.
