At Arden we have concentrated on the affordable and easily managed “plug-in” systems which are ideally suited to the small business, educational establishments or even domestic applications. The flexibility of these systems means that they can be used with conventional TV sets and VHS recorders in general use thus eliminating the need for dedicated monitors and keeping the cost down to the absolute minimum.

Combined camera/PIR units can be coupled through miniature control units so that recording only starts when a person enters the field of the PIR detector and stops 30 seconds after the field is clear. In addition multi-camera controllers are available which enable an intruder to be tracked from camera to camera and which, when the immediate area is clear, will switch from camera to camera at programmable intervals.

A major feature is the ability of remote units to transfer pictures of remarkable quality along standard telephone lines simply by dialling in from the controlling station.
