Entrance to Professional's Golf Shop at Golf Club. Steel faced laminated door with StripLock and continuous hinges and hinge bolts.

This door was attacked soon after installation and 29 sledgehammer blows were counted from top to bottom of door. The only permanent damage was to the aluminium lever handle and following the attack the door opened easily with key - the dents in the steel were filled, sanded down and the door repainted.

This demonstrates the resilience of Arden laminated timber doors since, had this been a steel door, permanent deformation would almost certainly have taken place and a complete new door assembly would probably have been necessary.
